The Elite Hotels group is known for convenience and innovation in luxury properties all over the country. Their 41 hotels spread across the Swedish territory combine tradition with modern technology to offer the most complete guest experience. They have partnered with Nonius to provide a robust pack of solutions, such as Cast, TV, Headend, Content Creation and an upcoming Mobile App for their newest flagship hotel.
Valuable partnerships for state-of-the-art Nordic TV entertainment
The Elite Hotels came to Nonius looking for the most fun entertainment for their guests. To come up with the best TV solution for the whole group, we provided customised solutions for each unit, always partnering with key companies in the Nordics region to offer top quality service to all guests enjoying a trip to Sweden.
This means Elite guests can enjoy the best Nordic TV content by Allente and stream their own shows, such as Netflix, HBO and much more, through the Nonius Cast or the Philips Media Suite TV with built-in Chromecast capabilities. Some properties are also equipped with the Philips CMND Server, which is seamlessly integrated to the Cast solution through the Nonius Integration Hub to provide an Interactive TV experience.
Nonius is also committed to upgrade all the TVs on the Elite units: this is an ongoing process and hotels all over the country will be updated when the old solution reaches end of life, in an effort to continue offering the most modern TV entertainment in the market.
The Wood Hotel: Elite’s take on sustainability and Scandinavian rustic design
One of the world’s tallest wooden buildings, The Wood Hotel is Elite’s biggest sustainability project, built from organic material from local forests. The cabin feel and the relaxed environment provided by Scandinavian design and the Vana Spa at the top of the building inspired Nonius to take a different approach on technology solutions.
To make sure that the in-room TV matched the wooden ambiance and the low environmental impact approach, we chose the Philips Media Suite TV with built-in Chromecast and personalised, powered by the Nonius Cloud Interactive TV solution. This decision meant less hardware in the room and the property while still offering all the entertainment and content necessary for a memorable stay.
Ad Astra by Elite: the group’s flagship hotel in Snäckviken
When Elite came to Nonius with the project for their new premium hotel with a Mediterranean feel only 20 minutes away from Stockholm, we immediately got on board. With the big opening planned for late autumn 2022, Ad Astra will be prepared to offer all the luxury and convenience the guests are looking for.
We developed a branded hotel app that will allow guests to immerse themselves in the Ad Astra experience even before their trip begins and make sure that they have all the information about amenities in just a few clicks. With the integration with Open POS and Adyen Payment gateway we are making sure that the food ordering is managed for smooth operations in the hotel’s restaurant, pool areas and roomervice. The Nenda TV & Entertainment integration will also offer personalised high-quality in-room TV entertainment for all tastes.
Not only guests can enjoy all the perks of personalised technology solutions in all the Elite Hotels units. Staff and management can also make the most of integrated solutions with their PMS of choice, Infor, which means optimised processes, increase in revenue and more time to take good care of guest needs.
