Following the success of the first deployment, the Maltese hospitality group once again trusts Nonius to power the TV in-room entertainment experience in two new properties.
AX Group is a well-established hospitality group in Malta, operating 11 hotels and hospitality concepts across the island. After the successful implementation of Nonius solutions at AX Odycy Hotel, the group chose to expand the partnership, reinforcing the trust built through proven performance and reliability.
These two new properties, Verdala Wellness Hotel – AX Privilege and AX The Heights Residences, are located on the same street and designed to complement each other: include a 46-room wellness hotel and a 24-unit luxury residence concept, both designed to deliver premium guest experiences supported by modern technology.
The Challenge: Delivering a Seamless In-Room Entertainment
As part of the development of these new properties, AX Group wanted to implement an in-room entertainment solution that would meet the expectations of today’s digitally connected guests.
The objective was to provide a modern TV experience that allows guests to easily access hotel information and securely stream their own content while ensuring seamless integration with existing hotel systems. At the same time, the solution needed to be reliable, scalable, and aligned with the high design standards of the new buildings.
The Solution: Nonius TV+ with Cast Built-in on Philips Hospitality TVs
To meet these requirements, Nonius deployed its TV+ platform using Philips hospitality TVs with Cast Built-in, providing guests with a modern, intuitive entertainment experience while simplifying operations for the hotel team.
The solution was fully integrated with the Newhotel PMS, enabling personalised guest information and streamlined management.
