The One Hundred Shoreditch trusts Nonius’ solutions to deliver a fully digital experience in their cool East London hotel

The Lore Group reinforces their partnership with Nonius by selecting a robust pack of solutions to enhance the guest experience in their brand new hotel.

 

The One Hundred Shoreditch was designed to capture the vibrant atmosphere of the trendy and cool East London neighbourhood. The Lore Group hotel offers 258 rooms, six restaurants and bars, including a rooftop bar and terrace with panoramic views of the buzzing Shoreditch High Street. In order to deliver a digital and integrated experience to all guests, the hotel chose Nonius Mobile, Cast, TV, Internet and Voice solutions.

Capturing Shoreditch’s essence with a branded Hotel App

To offer a fully digital experience to guests, the One Hundred Shoreditch selected the Nonius Mobile solution to develop a Hotel App that portrayed their brand and the true Shoreditch essence. This means app users can find a complete guide to the hip neighbourhood and to events at the hotel under the “Shoreditch first” section. Guests can also conveniently manage their stay through their own devices with these app functionalities:

  • Mobile Key integrated with Salto door lock

  • Book restaurant and bar tables
  • Room Service Ordering integrated with wi-Q
  • Chat & Requests integrated with Alliants
  • London Transport and Tube Maps

Sustainability and efficiency

The One Hundred Shoreditch hotel is all about sustainability and reducing waste. No plastic in the rooms, a free and unlimited water fountain in the corridor for guests to fill up their glass bottles and less paper collateral are some of the initiatives to become a more environmentally friendly property. The Hotel App is the biggest ally of sustainability, giving the possibility to reduce plastic key cards, card holders and paper menus or brochures from all areas of the hotel. A sustainable solution can also be an efficient one, and the integration of our solutions with the hotel’s PMS Opera Cloud, from Oracle, makes operations more effective and easily manageable by staff.

The best in-room entertainment for rainy days in London

Our Interactive TV and Cast solutions offer a seamless entertainment experience to guests in every room of the hotel. Either after a big day of exploring Shoreditch or during a rainy morning in London, guests can easily cast their favourite content to the in-room TV through their own smartphones. For even more convenience, they can also flip through room service menus, check the weather forecast or the status of their flights departing or arriving from local airports. All of this is easily accessed through the TV remote on their Hotel App, offering a true low-touch experience.

Integrated Wi-Fi and Voice solutions

The Nonius Hub also allows integrations with other solutions such as Guest Wi-Fi and Voice. A branded Wi-Fi login portal is a great tool to engage with guests, who can easily access the wireless network by providing their last name and room number. The Wi-Fi is also available for conference and events attendees, who will need to fill in their email addresses in a data collection effort for future marketing purposes. The One Hundred Shoreditch will additionally benefit from a Conference Tool integrated with UniFi.


Our IP-PBX solution was also implemented at the hotel with a Microsoft Teams integration to support home-working and a trunk with sister hotel Sea Containers to allow easy communication between both properties of the Lore Group.

From now on, the One Hundred Shoreditch will have 24/7 remote support from the Nonius technical team and full assistance from the Nonius UK office.
